Required Education
High School Diploma/GED and one of the following options:
Option 1: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist educational program
Option 2: Completion of an approved Surgical Technology training program through one of the following:
• U.S. Military Training Program (U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard)
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment. This position has limited access to Medication Rooms. Medications should not be handled at any time. Any questions should be directed to your supervisor or the charge nurse of the unit in question. Work Demands/Environment: Frequent standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, crouching, stooping.
